The hot wedge welding machine is an automatic dam liner welder used by technicians and engineers to join dam liners together. The machine has hot plate for heating the dam lining materials and wheels which move and press the two liners once they melt. Once ready, a predetermined speed is set then welding begins. This hdpe liner welding tool has an average speed of 0.5m-8m per minute depending on the dam liner thicknesses.
There is very minimum human interaction when using hot air welders. Interactions are only seen when aligning the liners and switching the machine on and off.
