Ball Valve (Black Captain)

Captain ball valves  are one of the best controlling valves in Kenya. Captain control valves are strong, versatile and durable . They are mostly used in irrigation especially in controlling water in hydrants. They also have a wide application in domestic water supply piping systems and in industries. They mostly come in different sizes from 1/2”  to as 4”.

Captain ball valves can either be threaded or unthreaded. Unthreaded are mostly used in pvc piping systems. Here an adhesive is used to bind the pipe and valve. Threaded ball corks are used where the pipe has threads. Here, PTFE sealant is wrapped on the threads, creating a water pipe joint.
