Rain Gun Sprinkler
Rain gun sprinklers are a overhead irrigation systems used for various applications. They are mostly used for irrigation crops, lawns and dust control in mining. Rain gun sprinklers spray water over large distances thereby saving time and resources.
They consist of a tripod stand and the rain gun itself with nozzles for spraying water. When pressurized water is turned on, water comes out in jet form with the potential of shooting upto radiuses of around 100m.
For rain gun sprinklers to work, a high pressure diesel, petrol or booster pumps are needed. Adequate water is also needed due to their high water demand. We recommend water from a river or a lined reservoir. An elevated water from a plastic storage tank might not be enough.
