What is a multi storey garden?

Multi storey garden or vegetable vertical garden is a garden that uses small space to grow vegetables and fruits. How to install multi storey gardens in Kenya

Prepare the soil by digging it out using jembes and fork jembe.
Make the soil fine then mix with manure.
Place six sticks equally spaced round the liner then put the well mixed using a spade. Add soil till 20cm to the top.
Repeat the process for the remaining 5 steps.

Best irrigation for multi storey garden

Several irrigation methods are available for vertical gardens in Kenya but the best is drip irrigation. This is because it conserves water, reduces irrigation time and reduces labour. The other irrigation method is water application using hose pipes from taps and sprinklers.
